Community Spotlight: food-recipientsHuckleberry Youth Programs-Marin
Huckleberry’s mission is “to educate, inspire, and support underserved youth to develop healthy life choices, to maximize their potential, and to realize their dreams.” Since 1967 Huckleberry has provided services, many free of charge, to youth ages 12-25. Services include a counseling program, substance abuse intervention and treatment, mental health education workshops, career training support groups, case management, and outreach. We bring them a regular food donation every Monday and we bring other donations whenever possible. They have large groups of students in afternoon/evening study groups who need food for all that brainpower! http://www.huckleberryyouth.org/teenhealth.html
