Food Recovery in Marin County: By picking up excess fresh food from businesses and immediately delivering it to nonprofits serving Marin’s most vulnerable children, adults, and families, we address the critical issues of hunger, wasted food, and global warming.

Who Donates Excess Food

Marin County has an abundance of fresh, high-quality, nutritious food. Farms, grocery stores, schools, restaurants, farmers' markets, caterers, cafeterias, bakeries and on and on...all use the freshest ingredients — often locally sourced — and keep to the highest standards. Here are some of our 200+ generous food donors who avoid throwing healthy, fresh edible food into our landfills and instead donate it for those who struggle in our community.
