Community Spotlight: food-recipientsMovin’ On Up
Movin’ On Up is an amazing organization that helps foster kids finish high school and move on to college. Kids who have grown up in the foster care system often find themselves without support when they reach adulthood. And MOU’s 3-home program reflects an additional, critically important need: 70% of 17-year-olds in foster care express a desire to go to college, but only 2% go. MOU provides housing, meals and a variety of other services to help their young people…move on up. We are delighted to be supporting MOU with food donations. www.movinonup.org
