By rescuing excess fresh food from businesses, securing freshly-made meals, and immediately delivering the food to nonprofits serving Marin’s most vulnerable children, seniors, and families, we address the critical issues of hunger, wasted food & climate change.

Community Spotlight: food-recipientsMill Street Center
Homeward Bound’s Mill Street Center, a 55-bed facility, is the county’s only night-to-night emergency shelter for homeless adults, serving both men and women. Some of the beds are reserved for emergency night-to-night stays, and some are reserved for adults working on an action plan to end homelessness in their lives. Staff support the residents around the clock, and we join many organizations supporting the center with food donations. Mill Street is an important part of the safety net in our community.https://hbofm.org/Homeless-Adults.html
