Food Recovery in Marin County: By rescuing excess fresh food from businesses and immediately delivering it to nonprofits serving Marin’s most vulnerable children, adults, and families, we address the critical issues of hunger, wasted food, and global warming.

Partners Donating Excess Food

Marin County has an abundance of fresh, high-quality, nutritious food. Farms, grocery stores, schools, restaurants, farmers' markets, caterers, corporate cafeterias, bakeries and on and on...all use the freshest ingredients — often locally sourced — and keep to the highest standards. Here are some of our 225+ generous food donors who avoid throwing healthy, fresh edible food into our landfills and instead donate their excess food for those in need in our community.
