Food Recovery in Marin County: By rescuing excess fresh food from businesses and immediately delivering it to nonprofits serving Marin’s most vulnerable children, adults, and families, we address the critical issues of hunger, wasted food, and the climate crisis.

Receive Food

Does your organization provide food to those in our community who struggle with hunger? Or might you do so, if you received food donations? By partnering with food donor organizations across Marin, we offer donations of prepared food, fresh produce, dairy, eggs, meat, packaged goods, and baked goods.

Our only requirements are:

   • Your organization is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

   • You are educated about all food-safety guidelines and follow those guidelines in serving/distributing food.

   • You use the food only to serve food-insecure people in Marin, free of charge.

   • You have a staff member onsite to receive our deliveries.

You can learn more about how our program works here.

By participating in our program, you’ll not only be able to provide more food to those you serve, but you’ll be helping to reduce the amount of healthy, fresh food that is wasted in Marin County.

So if you serve some of Marin's most vulnerable people, please use the form below to apply to our program. We look forward to hearing from you.
