Ways To Donate Food

Donate Food: Businesses, Schools, Hospitals

Donate Specially-Made Meals: Restaurants

Donate Produce: Backyards, Gardens, Farms

Types of food we rescue:

Prepared foods (meals, soup, salads), fruit, vegetables, dairy, eggs, meat, bread, packaged goods, baked goods

Who we rescue food from:

Grocery stores, restaurants, schools, farmers' markets, caterers/events, bakeries, corporations, civic organizations, hospitals, backyards, gardens, and farms.

We are unable to accept food donations from residences (except for gleaning produce)

We require that:

  • Your organization has followed all food-safety guidelines
  • You’ll donate a minimum of 10 servings of food in Marin and Sonoma or 25 servings in San Francisco 
  • You’ll provide your donation in food-safe containers, and have a staff member onsite to meet us
  • Donations come from a school or business (no private residences except for gleaning donations)
