Marin Magazine selected ExtraFood to be included in their article on how Marin can support local organizations. Each organization submitted dollar amounts and what that amount would fund. Although ExtraFood welcomes any contribution amount, the level chosen for the article was $500. Here is what that amount will support:
$500 provides healthy snacks, fresh breakfast, and lunch foods for out-of-school times, and nourishing meals for 40 food-insecure children for one month, distributed through school and after-school care partners.
Here are ways the community can help fund our food recovery work, thank you for your support!
